Spatial Design
Creating a home asks a lot of you.
It takes vision, energy, resources, decisions, and a willingness to navigate uncertainty and change.
My work creates space to step back, clarify what matters, explore what’s possible, and find your way forward.
You may be here because you are:
Imagining a future home and want to clarify what you want before making design decisions
Entering a build or renovation with a partner, family, or community and wanting to establish shared vision
Taking on a home project yourself and wanting support as decisions begin to unfold
Looking for clarity before approaching a designer so you can better articulate your needs, priorities, and vision
Already further along in the process and looking for support that holds both the practical realities of creating a home and the emotional, relational, and personal experience of moving through it

Imagining Your Future Home
A starting point for clarifying what matters, exploring what you are drawn to, and developing a vision for your future home.
For people in the early stages of imagining a home and wanting to begin with greater clarity and intention.
Through guided, reflective, and art-based exercises, you’ll begin to explore how you want to live, what matters to you, and what your home needs to support. Rather than relying only on verbal questions or design language, the process uses different creative ways of engaging with ideas, qualities, and possibilities, helping surface things that may be difficult to articulate directly.
This process can help you develop:
A clearer understanding of your needs, values, priorities, and how you want to live
An initial exploration of the spatial qualities, materials, textures, and atmosphere you are drawn to
A tangible connection between how you want to feel in your home and how the space can support that
The process creates an intentional starting point for your home journey, giving you space to pause, imagine, and begin shaping a vision before moving into more concrete design decisions.

Working with a designer or managing the project yourself and wanting another perspective to think through decisions, possibilities, or challenges
Deep in renovation or construction and feeling overwhelmed by decisions, timelines, budgets, material selections, or the disruption to everyday life
Feeling disconnected from your original vision or simply needing to pause and gain perspective, with space to reconnect with what matters and how you want to move forward

What’s different in how I work?
Design is never only about what we are creating.
It is also about how we move through the process of creating it.
Building or renovating a home involves much more than practical decisions. The spaces we create shape the rhythms of our daily lives, our relationships, and our sense of belonging. Creating them brings together questions of values, priorities, change, and how we translate ideas into physical reality, alongside the practical demands of ongoing decisions, budgets, timelines, and uncertainty. How we move through that process matters too.
Conventional design processes tend to focus on the practical and technical side of a project, leaving less space for the emotional and lived experience of going through it.
My work holds both.
I bring together design thinking with reflective and creative approaches to support both the practical decisions involved in a project and the deeper experience of bringing a vision into form.
Beginning with what matters most — the needs, values, and intentions guiding the work, and how you want to live — creates a stronger foundation for the decisions that follow.
